Outwell Carolina S Tent
Following on the success of the Carolina M, Outwell has now produced a mini version in 2010 in the form of the Carolina S, which is repeated this season. Still a 3-berth tent, the length has been shortened to form a much more compact, lighter option to take away for those quick weekend breaks.
The structure features just one central steel pole with two extended Duratec fibreglass poles to provide superb head height throughout for such a small tent.
The single, front panel door can be propped open to form a sun canopy is good weather conditions but when its not so nice the Outwell Carolina S Tent's large, multiple windows into the living space (all with curtains) will ensure plenty of daylight can still penetrate.
Other key features include a fully sewn-in groundsheet, large windows with bottom-up curtains, excellent ventilation, a pre-attached 3-berth inner tent with stowaway 'O' shaped door, and convenient mesh organiser pockets.
The Outwell Carolina S Tent technical features include one set of 19/22mm steel poles plus 11mm Duratec fibreglass poles; flysheet first or all as one pitching; an Outtex 4000 flysheet (a fire retardant polyester based material of 4000mm hydrostatic head) double stitched with taped seams; double-coated polyethylene sewn-in groundsheet, nylon carry bag with wet gear compartment; adjustable pegging points; lamp holder and cable tidies; Outwell doormat; pre-attached luminous guy lines; Outwell heavy duty zips; guy line retainers, cable entry point.
