The Airtech polycotton flysheet provides a cooler internal climate and is inherently more breathable than polyester.

While it is also significantly heavier than polyester, the increased weight of these tents has been offset by the use of the alloy poles. Another major feature is the zipped in PVC tarpaulin groundsheet that provide a totally enclosed environment when in use but can be completely removed and cleaned/aired when not.

Airtech is a Polycotton fabric with a water repellent coating on the outside which allows water droplets to form and run off the tent then, as the rain gets heavier the fabric closes up and seals itself to become totally waterproof. Airtech also has a strong resistance to UV decay and, if carefully looked after, will last for many years.
