The good:

can buy them anywhere, lots of colours, lots of sizes and in long lengths.. Tons of pockets on these including hidden, zipped security pockets, excellent for not losing things on the hills. Fast drying in sun or wind and wash really well.

The bad:

the zips-offs tend to sit in areas that rub.
